Hay thanks Jesse. This is useful information. I bought my PCIII second hand and didn't get a lot of info with it. I got a CD that seemed to be totally corrupted. I found one map which I could use. It runs better but is a little rough at 3000 RPM. (2950-3050) It's very smooth and powerful otherwise. This seems to be a problem which is correctable with adjustment. But I haven't got the proper instructions to make adjustments.
I've heard no negative comments about PCIII reliance or effectiveness. Improper grounding is the only consistent problem I've read about.
I'm suprised that there isn't more competition out there with devises for modification tuning adjustments. You have to have something like this unless you run bone stock! I don't know of any but I suppose the people who run their bikes completely stock don't get into the forums. Just us....I'm gonna fix it even if it isn't broken ...kind of guys.
